Appointments

Please ensure you are on time to your appointment. Unless I am notified within an hour of shoot time that you will be late, with exception of travel emergencies, I will only wait 15 minutes at location before leaving and your appointment will have to be rescheduled.

 

Weather/poor conditions: Booking will be rescheduled at a mutually beneficial time with no additional fee. Exception of which is when I am not allowed access to the venue you choose.

 

With exception of boudoir or wedding bookings, please make sure that you come dressed and “together” to the booking. The time booked with me will not include your personal prep time, and if circumstances prevent you/your party from doing this, will be subject to additional time charge while waiting/assisting you to get ready.

 

Payment (creative fees. Print payments discussed below)

50% of booking fee due at contract signing as a retainer to hold your spot in my calendar and 50% due one week before booking. Failure to pay final fee in this time frame can result in cancellation with no refunding of retainer.

 

Last minute bookings are accepted as schedule allows, per my discretion, and retainer/final fee time frame can be discussed during the consultation.

 

NOTE FOR WEDDINGS: Under no circumstance can I accept final fee payment the day of the event.

 

TFP/CD, Portfolio Shoots, Charity/501(c)3, Artistic Projects

I welcome submissions describing the project and it's scope, but drastically discounted fees and/or free shoots are done only at my sole discretion.

 

ABSOLUTELY no TFP/CD Weddings.

 

 

Fee Refund Policy

My Refund Policy is provided in contracts. They are based on the event/shoot type and case by case basis. I do not do blanket contracts- each one is tailored to it's respective circumstances and situations.

 

Prints

 

I will provide a link to you (within 3 days) of edited images on my proofing site, www.shootproof.com. You will be able to pick your images for packages, and I will be glad to guide you though choosing them to fit your needs and the package(s) selected. This gallery will be up for a designated amount of time and will incur a surcharge on your order if it has to be unarchived.

 

50% payment due at time of order, 50% due when prints ship to you or are picked up from me.

 

Typical turn around time is 1-2 weeks after selection and ordering for them to ship to your front door or picked up in person at a predesignated place. This is dependent on products selected and order/ship time. A more concrete time frame will be provided at ordering.

 

Print Refunds: If order is not satisfactory upon receiving shipment or being reviewed at pick up, the order will be redone and 50% fee will not be due until issue is remedied. You will not be issued a refund if you refuse delivery from shipping agent. I have tangible examples of print products available upon request prior to ordering, therefore no refunds of initial 50% of product/package will be issued.

 

Failure to order prints from me does not negate, nor warrant refund of, Creative Fee. This is the time spent on shooting and editing your booking, administrative costs, etc.

 

Digital Files

If a Digital File package is ordered, you will have rights to print at your discretion for personal use. I will provide you a signed agreement/release outlining limitations and your rights thereof. This includes posting of images to social media (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc).

 

Please note: The images on my proofing gallery are watermarked and are not “right click”-able.

 

Release of Image

Part of most contracts is an agreement that I can use your image or images from the booking in my professional promotional materials/campaigns. Specific use of your images are outlined in your booking contract, and will only be used as outlined therein.

 

General:

 

I do not accept bookings from the general public where I am to turn over an SD card or CD for you to edit on your own.

 

I do not shoot “for exposure” only. This is not valid compensation. I need to know the scope and details of the project you need photography for.

 

I pride myself on being transparent, and will discuss my fees as requested.
